A contest launched today to teach Louisiana’s schoolchildren the importance of the state’s wetlands. To coincide with the contest, and to help the children understand the value of our coast, projects will be held statewide and teachers are asked to raise the issue in class.
Rather than students in Louisiana, these activities should be provided for the numskulls in Congress and elsewhere in the country who wonder why Louisiana’s coast should be restored.
